An LLC is an excellent business vehicle, but it is not a visa. Let's separate reality from immigration fantasy.
An LLC is not a visa
Having a US company number, your EIN, does not give you the right to live in the US. You can have 10 companies in Delaware or Wyoming and still be barred from immigration as a tourist. The company is a legal entity for business and asset protection; your immigration status is a matter of natural person and completely different federal immigration laws.
L1 and EB-5: the big league
There are business visas, such as the L1 for executive transfer, or the EB-5 for major investors. But the requirements are high. For the L1, you must prove that the company in Brazil and the US operate together. For the EB-5, the investment exceeds 800 thousand dollars and must create jobs.
It is not just "opening the company" — it is proving a heavy and real capital injection.
The need for a business plan
For any company to serve as a basis for a visa, you need a robust business plan. The US government wants to know how your business will benefit their economy.
If your offshore is only a passive holding to hold money or invest in stocks, it will hardly serve as an argument for you to live there.
Substance: the real office
A visa requires substance. If you want an investor or work visa in your own company, you need a physical office, hired American employees, and an operation that justifies your presence in the country to manage it all.
A "post office box" in Wyoming does not give you the right to live in Orlando.
